The Fundamental Difference

Salary: You exchange time for money. If you stop working, the income stops. Income scales with hours worked, promotions, and job market conditions. The average monthly salary for a professional in India ranges from ₹30,000-₹1,50,000 depending on experience and city.

To generate ₹30,000/month in rental income at 7% annual yield, you need:

₹30,000 × 12 ÷ 0.07 = ₹51.4 lakh in real estate assets

To generate ₹1,00,000/month at 7% yield, you need:

₹1,00,000 × 12 ÷ 0.07 = ₹1.71 crore in real estate assets
